Family Plans
Family plans can have up to 5 phone lines. Each additional line gets cheaper.
Since data is not shared, tablets and other devices have their own data plans.

Data Pricing
Devices in a T-Mobile family plan do not share data. Each line has its own data.
There are no data overage fees, only the speed will be reduced.
Some of the data can be used for tethering. (using your phone's data connection from other devices).
Device Pricing
Tablets and laptops have separate data plans.
There is a $10/month discount for devices with a voice plan on the same account.
The first tablet with 1 GB data is $10-$10=$0/month.
3 GB data is $30-$10=$20/month.
Unlimited Talk/Text
All phones in T-Mobile family plans get unlimited talk and text in the US.
Contracts
T-Mobile does not have contracts.
Phones are not subsidized. You can buy a phone, pay installments, or bring your own phone.
